Hi there! I’m so glad you found your way here.
I’m Heli – the founder of Hidastaja Art, designer, product maker, packer, customer service rep, and the one constantly fixing the printer.

Hidastaja Art started in the summer of 2019 as a small side project. But it quickly grew into something real – and in February 2020, I made a big decision: I left my hectic day job and jumped headfirst into full-time entrepreneurship.
Just a couple of weeks later, the world turned upside down – but my first jewelry design, Fuck This Shit, turned out to be exactly what the moment needed. It reminded me that I was meant to stay on this path.

At the heart of this business is the courage to do things differently.
The collection includes jewelry, paper goods, clothing, and home decor – things born out of life, thoughts, and feelings. I design everything myself, and some of the products are also made right here in Kartanonkoski, Vantaa.

My inspiration comes from everyday life, the world, people – and the belief that not everything has to be taken too seriously.
I hope my products carry a mix of joy, strength, hope, and just the right amount of sarcasm. Maybe even a gentle middle finger every now and then, right where it belongs.

In my free time, you’ll often find me:
– with a cup of coffee (usually on the third round)
– wandering in the woods
– lost in music, books, or good TV shows
– and pretty often by the rink at a hockey arena
