Jewellery Care Instructions
Our jewellery is made to last, but with the natural materials used in it, it is good to pay attention to the instructions below.
Plywood/plastic jewellery should not come into contact with water, i.e. they should not be worn in the shower or swimming. In the shower, jewellery is exposed to moisture, as well as various chemicals, which can easily ruin their wooden/plastic and metal parts and weaken, for example, the gluing of stud earrings. The jewellery also cannot withstand heat and should not be used in a sauna or stored in direct sunlight. Over time, dirt and grease can accumulate on the surface of the jewellery, so you can wipe the surface lightly with a damp cloth. We recommend storing jewellery in for example a jewellery box where they remain protected from light and moisture.
The plywood jewellery may also have a smoky smell, which is due to the fact that the jewellery is laser cut into shape. However, the smell gradually disappears from the jewellery.
Contact us if any part of the jewellery breaks. If necessary, we can repair the jewellery or send new parts.
